Agwen, I think it might be New Zeasland! But I agree it would be a great idea. We should do it. I remember Pol and I tried to ‘win’ a week in a landmark Trust building for a week and our plan was to have morsbaggers dropping in. Unfortunately we didn’t win!

I have 2 people in my pod who bag the cashiers. One is my mother in law before I did her supermarket shopping. The other is my neighbour Jim who is very proud to have guerilla bagged all the staff in our local Sainsburys. I think they dish out so many hundreds of plastic bags that they think about all the damage caused by them.

Beattie, do you remember when I added a morsbag to a display about their different re-usable bags which all had the prices on. I put a FREE post-it on the bag! It was there for 4 days!!

I agree with Butterfly. It’s a loads of b******s . I thought the daily mail were doing a good job highlighting the problem of single use plastic bags and then they go and print this.

I have a terrible feeling that the planned tax on PBS May have fallen by the wayside.

I have just got back from a holiday in Wales where they have had a charge for a couple of years and i did a bit of checking out the situation. The smaller shops were putting purchases in paper carry out bags. Holidaymakers were still carrying plastic bags around. At supermarkets people were taking in bags for life (if only they were!) People told me they were used to not using plastic bags but interestingly I didn’t see many re-usable bags around.

I can’t remember if we gave Pol any Offfcuts2 bags for that event but I remember that it was the first time you came across morsbags. 🙂

Sorry to hear about the Brentwood coach accident. Something like that affects the whole community. 🙁
