Handmade
for the planet.
change the world, one bag at a time.
Make a reusable bag from fabric that would’ve been binned — then give it away, to friends, family, colleagues and unsuspecting strangers. Beware: it’s addictive.
the difference we’re making, together
why bother?
Plastic bags are serial killers.
In the water they’re mistaken for jellyfish and swallowed. The turtle, dolphin, whale or bird dies and decomposes around the bag — and the bag floats off, ready for its next victim. One handmade bag, given away, quietly takes hundreds of plastic ones out of the world.

Three ways to pod.
Register a pod and keep a tally of the bags you make — it’s how we show the difference we’re all making. Pick the one that fits you.
Team pod
A local group with a home patch — you meet up to make bags and hand them out, and you can recruit new members.
Solo podder
A pod of one, making and handing out bags in your own area. You have a location (handy for fabric donations) but don’t recruit.
Online pod
No fixed location, meets virtually if at all, and can recruit. Every member hands out in their own local area.
Not one for sewing?
You can still help. Donate fabric to your local pod, or bring skills like cutting, ironing, transport — or cake. Find a pod near you and offer a hand.
Keep the movement going
Morsbags is a not-for-profit — a negative-profit, honestly. Donations cover cost-price labels, this website, and the bits that keep thousands of baggers going. Give once or regularly.

Support Morsbags.
The bags are always free. This is simply how you chip in — sew-in labels, membership, or a one-off gift.
Bag it forward.
Create a pod, make morsbags, sew on a label, spread the word. The ever-growing ‘bag-it-forward’ cycle is in your hands.
