    Hi Jan, I am in Offcuts pod in Leicester, UK (Richard !!! found buried in a carpark shot us to fame!) I am so pleased your event went well. I hope you manage to post your photos on Flickr. We often say to people as we give them bags ‘We are always looking for people to help us make morsbags’ We have found quite a few morsbaggers that way.

    Some of the pods have Facebook pages including Bude Baggers which built up almost entirely using Facebook. If you search morsbags on there they all should come up.

    We always take our own re-usable cups to the coffee outlets and they are fine about it.

    Barbara, we have just had a big thread donation if they are any use to you. We meet at Fabric Guild in Oadby on thursdays 11-2pm now if you are ever passing it would be great to see you and I can pass on some threads. Rosie

    Yes a student doing a phd in criminology set it up for me. The first so many words automatically go onto twitter and it seems to get quite a lot of retweets and followers without us having to do anything Instagram does seem very popular so maybe Tori and I could have a look at it. I think it is mainly photo based so good to put record of bags made.

    Catherine your pod is a shining example of a pod built up on social media. And it is an instant way to communicate.

    Good luck with the lottery applications Pol and Joby. I know how time consuming it is to apply for funding, and every hour spent applying for funding is an hour lost in putting bread on the table!

    For what its worth in my experience it is best to strike while the iron’s hot (literally!) and suggest to all potential bag makers that they register their own pod and start making bags asap. 🙂

    Congratulations Cathapple. Your pod is also an excellent example of the ‘growth’ vision from Pol when she first started morsbags but using social media. Congratulations on reaching 5000, thats a great achievement. xx
