Embedding pictures and video

Ok, this is more of a test but it seems the good news is that youtube links will embed directly into a forum post (hopefully no need for tags etc)

So here goes, pasting a YouTube URL…

And now pasting a flickr image sharing URL…

Ok – ive edited this as it seems Flickr have changed their ways again. Luckily I just found an option in the site to let the site do all the hard work.
When in Flickr you can just grab the url at the top of your browser in the address bar and then paste directly into where you are typing – do not use the img button above!

I am completely stuck. I can’t see where to get the photo off Flickr. It all seems desperately complicated.

Krisaby, copy the address bar from the photo, and paste onto your post. (no img like we did before)

Beattie, how did your photo smaller? I clicked on it then changed the size to Med500, copied and pasted but it came out as Med640?

Ahem, didn’t work for me either 😳

Try again – still didn’t work, my attempt came out the same as yours Offcuts, and I selected Medium 500 too. In fact, it seems larger than medium 640 – maybe you automatically get the original size? Might be worth raising a query with Joe.

I did notice some non-morsbag photos on Flickr! Grr!

Maybe its big, big or big for the photos! 😉

Maybe Ivybags would prune the morsbags pool members on Flickr? I noticed some non-morsbags photos appearing in the gallery. Look portuguese/ brazilian?
