I’m delighted to report that I am no longer a solo podder….. yeah! My friend Sally has joined my pod, she has been sewing about two months, and like me she is self taught. She has made four morsbags so far 🙂
We will continue to sew separately in the main Beattie due to us both having small children, she already has a fabric addiction 🙂
I’ve just given my Christmas competition morsbags away to Miss Evie’s nursery teachers….. I was a bit sad to see them go to be honest…Anyone else find that some bags are harder to set free than others?
Yes deffo! I gave away a particularly special bitza bag Himself had made the other day! Oh well, it was worth it!!
On Wednesday evening this week I will be attending a monthly craft night and hopefully taking along enough morsbags so that every attendee can have a free bag…. I have cut and ironed some kits this morning ready to sew tomorrow morning whilst Miss Evie is at nursery….. Pics to follow hopefully.
Thanks Beattie, I have 16 bags part sewn after a few problems with the machine this morning (nothing that a good clean didn’t sort out), will finish them off tomorrow morning.
This month we’re making a ‘contemporary wall art picture’ …. Hmmmmmm
Last nights craft night went down well, i had lots of fun trying out a new craft and everybody who attended got a morsbag, sorry I didn’t get any pics as my phone ran out of charge.
I also had an enquiry from a lady who wanted me to attend an event at the end of June, I’m waiting for an email with more details.
