Appearances
Over the years morsbags has popped up on the telly, on the radio, in newspapers, magazines, books and blogs — and even had tea at a garden party or two. Here is a little scrapbook of where our sociable guerrilla bagging has turned up.
We have been a bit quieter than usual lately while we rebuilt the site, so we have not been in the news quite as much as once upon a time. But there is a lovely back catalogue to browse below — and plenty more to come.
Award-winning bagging
We are enormously proud that morsbags has been recognised for what our volunteers make happen, stitch by stitch, all over the world:
- The King’s Award for Voluntary Service (2024) — the highest honour a UK volunteer group can receive, often described as an MBE for volunteers.
- The Global Good Award — recognising the environmental impact of a worldwide community sewing free bags to keep plastic out of the sea.
