That’s fantastic Cathapple! I like the idea of laminating labels for ID badges. Did you add names to the labels inside the laminating sheet? How did you fix them to the wearer – safety pin/ lanyard come to mind as possible ways.
A long time ago I made ID badges sewn to a green backing fabric with safety pins sewn to the back, but they weren’t popular with the other members of the pod (this was in the days of Aggie Baggies).
Sorry you missed out on the warm sunshine by being in the bandstand, but if the weather had been true to form you might have been gloating about your rainproof shelter!
Well done on preparing all the paraphanalia for a well-organised event 😀 Getting 30 bags made in four hours by members of the public is amazing – you must have had lots of sewing machines and loads of helpers! Fab-U-lous 😀
