Super stall and lovely bags Jenmeister! I remember seeing quite a few pics of your bags with handles ingeniously incorporated into the appliqued designs. Fantastic one-off designs! 😀
A hand crank is really useful for doing markets and other situations with no power, or where getting it would be a hassle, like fetes, fairs, sewing in parks, and so on. They’re also a talking point – lots of people get snagged by the machine – they remember turning the handle for their gran/mum/aunty and stop to admire them. There’s a bit of an art to turning the conversation onto what we’re sewing and why – I find that’s the difficult bit!
