I’d never made Suffolk puffs before. I discovered that you need to start with a MUCH bigger round of fabric than you think, they end up quite a bit less than half the original diameter. And they don’t work using upholstery fabric 😕 But the ones made of shiny gauzy fabric work really well as stand-ins for glass balls.
